Youth in the Arts is a grass-roots art participation movement started by some great guys that I went to high school with. They are providing space, money and support for high school and college kids trying to create their own work.

Wow. Being a musician, a playwright, a standup comedian…whatever, all you do is sit in a comfort zone and produce something that world is currently without. You make a contribution to the world and hope it gets out there…if that is in fact your intent. Sometimes that content does get out there. Sometimes it takes 10 years or so, but it finds a way.
