a-girl-of-many-cans asked: Hey Mike! Besides from wanting to let you know how much I love the music you make, I have a hard hitting question. Why have all of your covers been made private on YouTube? I haven't been able to watch any of them for months now. Solutions? Thanks! Sam

It’s more of a safety precaution than anything else. The relationship between the traditional music world and YouTube is confusing and horrible. Also, I would very much like to keep making videos for you.

Anonymous asked: Hey Mike. So, I graduated some time ago. I'm 25 now and I just don't relate with my profession anymore. I've been wanting to study medicine but where I live it takes at least five years to graduate which would make me a 30 year old at college. I haven't even done anything about it and there's already preassure on me... I just wanted to know your opinion on it since it's kind of a big deal for me... Thank you.

Leonardo DaVinci didn’t paint his masterpiece, The Last Supper until he was 46.

In his 20s and 30s he messed up his freelance career by not finishing huge projects and had to drawing dead criminals to make money.

Harrison Ford was a carpenter until he was 35.

Don’t be afraid to start over. You can do it.

(Insert a billion other similar examples…then watch this…then do what makes you happy and work hard.)

Anonymous asked: How to handle this situation (Move on or take a risk): I have a crush on a girl I hang out with on weekends. We don't talk throughout the week and both sleep over at my friend's house on weekends. Our best friends go out with each other. I want to ask her out but don't want to risk any awkward within our little group if she says no to me. We are extremely comfortable with each other but I know I'm not the only guy to be. We never talk if we are not in person (no texting).

"I do not regret the things I’ve done, but those I did not do."  the guy who played Lucas in Empire Records.

Nothing will happen if you don’t talk. Communication is everything. If you communicated more you’d get a better grasp on the situation, which will help you with your decision.

Also, DEFINITELY ask her out. This lil’ sleepover extravaganza that you guys have going on isn’t going to last forever. Everyone is going to branch off and move on eventually.  When that happens you’re gonna wish that you took a chance.

If you are anywhere close, don’t miss this.
